Role Purpose
The IT & Automation Administrator is responsible for managing and optimising the company’s internal technology infrastructure, access controls, system security, and workflow automation tools.
This role ensures that HFC operates efficiently, securely, and with scalable internal systems.
- Position: IT & Automation Administrator
- Location: Mauritius - Onsite
- Type: Contract (long-term, subject to successful completion of probationary period and performance)
- Training: 2 months of formal training during the first 6 months. Deliverables will be expected in parallel.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Administer Google Workspace (user setup, permissions, security policies)
- Manage email accounts and domain configurations
- Maintain access control across all systems
- Monitor system usage and security compliance
2. Odoo Internal Administration
- Manage internal Odoo configuration
- Control user access rights
- Optimise internal workflows
- Support internal module configuration
- Maintain system performance and updates
3. Automation & Process Optimisation
- Design and implement workflow automations
- Integrate tools (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Make, APIs, AI tools)
- Reduce manual work across departments
- Identify opportunities for system efficiency improvements
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement cybersecurity best practices
- Manage data protection controls
- Maintain password and access policies
- Conduct periodic access audits
5. Technical Support (Internal)
- Provide Level 1 internal support
- Troubleshoot access and system issues
- Support onboarding/offboarding of team members
- Maintain IT documentation and SOPs
Performance Metrics
- System uptime

- Response time to internal requests
Must have qualifications, experience and skills
Education

Diploma or Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Or equivalent practical experience

- IT administration
